How to use this page
Enter separate unpaid breaks as comma-separated minutes, such as 30, 15. Two breaks totaling 45 minutes are subtracted once from the shift duration. Paid breaks should not be entered here.
1. Add your shifts
Choose one or two weeks. Use the actual clock-in and clock-out times for each day; leave days off empty.
2. Check the assumptions
Breaks are unpaid minutes. Overnight shifts need the next-day box. If a clock change affects elapsed time, enter the signed adjustment explicitly.
3. Keep a clear record
Review the daily and weekly totals, then print or export CSV. Your entries stay in this browser tab.
Good to know
Are 7 hours 30 minutes the same as 7.30 hours?
No. Thirty minutes is half an hour, so 7 hours 30 minutes is 7.50 decimal hours. Divide the minutes by 60 to convert them.
Does this determine legally owed overtime?
No. Optional overtime is an estimate using the workweek boundary, threshold and multiplier you choose. It does not apply employment laws, contracts, taxes or payroll rules.
Can I calculate a shift after midnight?
Yes. Select Next day on that row. Without that setting, an end time earlier than a start time is rejected so an entry mistake does not silently become a long shift.
Keep going.
